25/11/09 - After Eight Anyone?

Eight weeks into the FPT Season 1 calander and still no two time winners'.  Ray 'Mondo' Brown scooped 1st place, taking out both Moffats in the final hand.  Linda and Gregor finished 2nd and 3rd respectively, well played to everyone.  In the overall league standings Neil 'Giant Chipstacks' Kelly and Ryan 'The Don' Vito are sitting joint top, 700 points clear of 3rd place Danny 'Knockout' Coll.

18/11/09 - Lucky Number Slevin

With more badbeats and suckouts than a hooker's tea party week 7 was not a week you wanted to get it in ahead.  Runner Runner was the order of the day as to were pocket 4's apparantly.  Once the dust had settled it was Kev 'KK' Power that finished in 3rd place, followed by Stefan in 2nd.  Ryan Divito took down the week 7 crown increasing his lead at the top of the FPT League with his first tournament win of the season.  You'll be interested to know that after 7 events there have been no repeat winners as yet, maybe this will change in week 8... who knows?

11/11/09 - It's Marathon not a Snickers

Well folks we're half through the inaugural FPT season and the league is shaping up nicely.  With 18 players turning out this week it meant that there was a lot of points up for grabs for whoever managed to outlast the strong field.  After a gruelling 3 hrs Neil 'AK'elly finished third, which was enough to see him take 1st place at the top of the FPT League Table.

Jimmy and Gregor were left to battle it out heads up and after some early sparring they decided to split the fairly sizeable pot and play one hand face up for the allocation of points which was won by Gregor.  As the league progresses more and more people have qualifed for their mid-season Poker Addict Bonus, so be sure to turn up and build up ur stack for the EOSG.
